Since its foundation in 2010, the opening of the only roller sports and BMX hall between Ulm and Munich (2012 – 2016) and a wealth of experience in promoting young talent, the Augsburg-based association RAZED e. V. was able to send active members to the Bavarian Roller Sports Association in 2017. Skateboarding should become an Olympic sport. On this basis, it became clear that a new hype would once again take place around “our” subculture. It was foreseeable that commercial providers would simply push children over ramps with the intention of making a profit – but structural development was always our declared aim.
To inspire local kids and doers to become active themselves. All the know-how about D.I.Y. ramp construction, falling and getting up again and again, designing your own skate parks and getting involved in sports politics, direct knowledge transfer, living and experiencing skateboarding – that’s the unifying idea between all the active people. No matter whether it’s an organized club, ambitious educators or loosely connected skaters in our scene.
The skatemobile is currently based alternately in the Günzburg and Augsburg Stadt/Land districts. If you want to book the skatemobile directly or need support on site, we will be happy to put you in touch with our network partners in Bavaria, and in some cases nationwide.
